Dairy Farm Plant Stall

Welcome to Aldbrough Dairy Farm Plants

As every keen gardener knows, we take great pride in the quality of the plants we produce.

Lucy Butler is no exception. Early on in the year, Lucy had been so carried away with her seed sowing that she ended up with an excess of the plants she produces. What should she do? Her borders and veg patch were full to the brim.

In steps, mum. “They’re too good to compost! Why don’t you put them outside and sell them?”

Reluctant at first, but that’s what she did…

And so, Dairy Farm Plants was born.

The wheeled stall you see outside the farm gates – was dusted down and spruced up (having been left idle for a few years in the barn. A story for another time perhaps?). Lucy filled it with her prized over-spill. The plants proved so popular with people in Aldbrough village the stock soon began to run out.

Always eager to please, Lucy, managed to source other top quality plants to supplement her own produce, giving more variety and range. We do hope you like what you see and buy.

Naturally I'm a lovely person to know, but as D'Arcy says 'My good opinion once lost is lost forever.'

I love comments :-)
