Mob Rule Is Law

Covid-19 won’t go away!

June 2020

Our fate is in our hands. From here on in here’s what the ‘new normal’ means for us all. We all know by now the world has gone mad and an awful lot of people are worried. Governments are in turmoil, there isn’t going to be any good news any time soon. Get used to it. There’s no magic wand, the Genie is out of the bottle. Mob rule is the law now?

  • Rioting World-wide.
  • Submissive coppers taking the knee.
  • The Police have also been running away from wrong-doers.
  • Thugs pouncing on police officers.
  • Wanton destruction of monuments.
  • Looting and pillaging.

So, what do we do? Well, one thing we can’t do, and that is to sit listening to the bias news channels waiting for direction from the powers that be. The reason for this is quite simple, Covid-19 is here to stay whether we like it or not. It will be back maybe a second wave or certainly a seasonal variety.

If you use your head and learn all you can about this type of influenza, believe me, you’ll fair a lot better than you have done in these last six months. We know so much more about it now, for instance:

  • We know it attacks old people.
  • We know it attacks those with health problems.
  • We know youngsters are okay with it.
  • We know simple hygiene measures kill it.

During this period of lockdown, I’ve used some of my time to study disease and epidemics. I’m not a clinician or healthcare professional, but, it doesn’t stop me from looking for answers. Why rely on people who may or may not have some hidden agenda?

I know this may seem far-fetched to some? Bear this in mind while reading, respiratory illness.

When you go back to square one and look at the time-line of what’s occurring all over the world, you probably think you need to give your head a wobble? I’ve never been one to just take things in without question, and I would urge you to do the same. For instance, I can remember in my childhood when all the talk was about tuberculosis? Remember the BCG jab?

Like other respiratory infections, TB is spread by airborne droplets passed on through sneezing and coughing. It is mostly spread through prolonged contact with an infected person. TB differs from other airborne infections such as colds and flu in that it is not typically passed on by short-term contacts, such as when using public transport.

I feel fortunate in this respect because part of my cancer treatment required me to have the BCG drug-infused into my bladder. And I firmly believe this has helped me stave off this Covid bug.

What’s that got to do with, Covid-19 you ask? Well, 10 years ago it was reported that London is, “the TB capital of Europe”, by The Daily Telegraph. Stay with me on this one. Recently, more evidence came forward that people of ethnic minority appear to be more susceptible to the Covid-19 virus than others. It has also been mentioned that diabetes may be another weakness.

In Victorian times tuberculosis was called consumption. The report’s author, Professor Alimuddin Zumla of University College London, attributes the rise to people living under “Victorian” conditions, with poor housing, inadequate ventilation and overcrowding in certain deprived areas of London. Ring any bells?

I’m still doing my research and trying to connect the dots. It’s helping me to cope with this nonsensical situation – so what I’m trying to say I guess is, pick your area of interest and go and do some research of your own. That way, when the shit hits the fan, we can get our heads together and re-build society as we know it.

Naturally I'm a lovely person to know, but as D'Arcy says 'My good opinion once lost is lost forever.'

I love comments :-)
