Poetry

Notebook and pencil

On my poetry page in time you’ll find all the poems I’ve penned. It’s surprising that once you get the ‘writing bug’ how quickly your hard drive fills up with your own words. Never-the-less, I do encourage you to give it a try. It is a very therapeutic pastime.

“I can’t write” or “What have I got to write about?” or even, “No no no, it’d be too embarrassing to share my words with the world”.

Yes, I can hear you! Well guess what? those are just the sort of reasons I used to give myself before I began writing, and because I hadn’t done any kind of formal writing since my school days. You can always hear people saying everyone has a story to tell well we have and if you don’t believe me, try telling that, to the late Frank McCourt author of Angela’s Ashes.
